This adorable chapel is where the wedding bliss is happening tomorrow. I am using major self-control by not sharing the location of the reception, but I want to keep your mouth watering of all the deliciousness that is to come ;]
Tonight, Kayla & I are just relaxing. We saw…
& it was completely adorable. Loved loved loved it. Justin&Drew have amazing on screen chemistry…& in real life too :]
Gahhhh…..Anberlin’s new album Dark is the Way, Light is a Place is so amazing. I am so attached to this band. They were the first introduction into a brilliant new world of music that Chad introduced to me when we first started dating :] One of their CDs contains a song we had our first kiss to…ew, gross, mushiness….Sorry ;]
But seriously, the vocals of Stephen Christian & their genius lyrics are phenomenal. Get it, get it, GET IT.
& with that little push of motivation….I am off to Portland to see I guess, if I have that certain talent. Maybe that sounds cheesy, but that is truly what I have been wrestling with this past week especially. Do I love photography? Yes. Do I have confidence in what I have done accomplished in the past 2 years of my journey as a aspiring photographer? Yes. But do I truly have anything to claim as my own? No. But I sure am ready to :]
Vanessa & Ryan have put their faith & trust in me as a creative to capture the most important day of their lives thus far. It. Is. So. Humbling. I feel so blessed. & I am beyond excited to see if I truly love this…if this is a door the Lord is opening for me right now. I am excited to discover…to just finally do it & put all these self-doubts behind me. But more than anything, I am excited to LEARN.
I have been in pursuit the past year for the perfect calligrapher to design my first ink job & I have happily decided on working with Elaine Chou from Papermade. She is beyond adorable & her work is flawless. I love her blog & she even featured a letter I sent her a few weeks ago…
It just made me smile this morning :]
I have enjoyed our correspondence & I am so anxious to have the finished project. We have been sending ideas & inspiration back & forth for weeeeeeeeeeks. I just want it to be perfect, obviously, as I will rock this the rest of my life :] It has been refreshing & somewhat daunting working with another artist, who happens to be a professional & very successful. I feel so blessed she wanted to work on this project.
